New Members

THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING MEMBERSHIP
IN THE LONDONDERRY FISH & GAME CLUB!

NOW THAT I HAVE SIGNED UP, WHAT COMES NEXT?

NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION

If you work second shift, making it difficult to attend a meeting, contact a Club Officer to arrange a date and time you can come to the club for New Member Orientation. New Member Orientation is a basic process where we introduce you to the club facilites, review the range safety rules, policies and procedures for club use and issue you a Temporary Membership Badge and key to the club facilites. Orientation only takes roughly 30 minutes and once completed, you will immediately be able to use all club facilities.

Prior to NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION you may find it helpful to download and read the documents included below. They are the LFGC Bylaws, Range Rules, and Vehicle Sheet.

ISSUANCE OF THE TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP BADGE

MEMBERSHIP is granted on the basis that you qualify to be a member. While a temporary membership badge gives you all the same rights and privilges of use as any other member, your membership will not be fully vested until the nextclub meeting when your regular badge is issued. Regular Badges are issued one time per month at each monthly club meeting or, in the case where a new member is not able to attend the first monthly club meeting, mailed within three to five days after. At each MONTHLY CLUB MEETING new members are formally "voted into" the club to firmly establish their memberships in the official club record.

ISSUANCE OF THE CLUB KEY

The Londonderry Fish & Game Club is different from other clubs in the respect that we want our members to have a relaxed hassle-free place to shoot as often as they choose without all of the silly "political" rules frequently found at other clubs. The LFGC is a "model of Brevity" when it comes to rules. The rules we have focus on safety, courtesy and advocacy for Shooting Sports, Hunting and Fishing and the Second Amendment. While our rules are few and modest, we cannot and will not grant access or issue a club key until the New Member Orientation has been attended by each and every new member.

APPLICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP SUBMITTED ON-LINE WITH PAYMENT

New members who submit on-line applications with the annual dues payment made by PayPal or Credit Card are charged and additional handling fee.

APPLICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP SUBMITTED ON-LINE WITHOUT PAYMENT

New members who submit on-line applications without the annual dues payment will not be contacted right away, but instead the application will be processed at the next scheduled Monthly Club Meeting along with walk-in and mail-in applications. We hold these applications for ninety days and then discard them if not acted upon.

APPLICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP SUBMITTED BY U.S. MAIL

New members who obtain an application from the Club, on line or other source and submit the application by U.S. Mail (snail mail) will be processed at the next scheduled Monthly Club Meeting.
